Michelle Obama and her sartorial choices were the highlight of Wall Street Journal coverage and it was last week when her fashion sense was featured as well. This time she revealed the name of the persona behind her elegantly designed clothes. It’s no other than the Chicago-based designer Maria Pinto.
Though her designs are simple, they present an elegant looking female with sculptural but unfussy details. Oprah and her BFF Gayle King are also followers of Maria. Her designs can be found at Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys and Takashimaya in New York and now has a boutique in the works in Chicago.
