Valentino mentioned that the highlight of his career in the fashion industry was when Julia Roberts wore her couture gown by famous Valentino during the Oscar Awards in 2001. This was the time when Julia’s fame in Hollywood was incomparable and often the talk of the show business.
Valentino says, “I have dressed so many people but I have to be sincere. The person that made me feel so very, very happy was Julia Roberts.”

“When she got the Academy Award for Erin Brockovich I watched it on television and really I was so excited that she appeared in my dress. It makes me so very happy and proves once more that movie stars love my clothes,” he added.

The dress is of a velvet material with silver strips that accented her figure. If you see the gown on a stand, it may just look like a plain and sophisticated attire. It made a whole lot of difference once it was worn by Julia.
