After the very successful mobile exhibition done in Hongkong and Tokyo, Chanel’s Mobile Art exhibit will be coursing in New York’s Central Park.  The same mobile exhibition will also be coming to Moscow, London, and Paris in the coming months.

The opening was graced by famous celebrity icons who have always been models and followers of CHANEL.  Among the famous names who came were Sarah Jessica Parker, Karl Lagerfeld, Kate Bosworth, Eve, and Agyness Deyn.

The website states, “CHANEL has decided to make the legendary quilted bag the focus of an event on an international scale: MOBILE ART. Just as fashion spreads throughout the world, this traveling event will be presented in Asia, the United States and Europe.

In a futuristic pavilion created by the architect Zaha Hadid, 20 international contemporary artists will exhibit work inspired by the elements that give the emblematic quilted bag from CHANEL its identity.  Their unique visions, unexpected interpretations-poetic, cheeky and inspirational – reveal the multiple facets of this emblematic bag in all artistic expressions.”

There’s no reason for the young, the chic, and the fashionistas to miss this once in a lifetime event in CHANEL.  Entrance is free and they will be until November 9 at the Rumsey Playfield in Central park.
