Fashion Empress

The good people from the AFP once and until now say that Royal Ascot is an “annual British parade of horses, hats and high society.” That means that British people, especially the ladies wear hats far better and fashionable than those  in the US.

This is dress code they follow whenever the Royal Ascot festivity opens:

• A formal dress that is paired with a very extravagant or exaggerated hat.
• Off the shoulder, halter neck, spaghetti straps and dresses with a strap of less than one inch and/or mini skirts are big NOs.
• Midriffs must be covered and trouser suits must be full length
