It’s fun to play with different shades of eyeshadow. But you know there are better ways on how you can wear one and not look funny.
Here are a few tips you can use:
- Use the bluish lavender kind of purple color. It’s definitely better than the fuchsia ones.
- combine the purple color eyeshadow with neutral colors like gold, taupe, brown, and tan.
- use concealer to reduce eye discoloration especially the undereyes.
Here are some how to use tips from Style List:
Smoky Eye – Choose deep purple or mauve (see Vanessa Hudgens in gallery) shadows that suit your skin and work it into a smoky eye for a fresh take on this classic look.
Day – Peachy pink is a universally flattering blush and lip color and works well with our hue d’jour. Nude works too.
Night – A spicy blush or bronzer with gold flecks will illuminate the face and bring the purple into present day. If you’re going with purple eyes and bronzed cheeks, the best lip is a pinky nude.
